Celebrating Africa in Paris: that’s the mission that Maison Château Rouge has been on since 2015. From their store in the 18th arrondissement, the two Senegalese brothers Youssouf and Mamadou Fofana have written a success story that has led them to export to London, Tokyo and Beijing. Always with the same objective: to celebrate their their beloved neighborhood of Château Rouge (a popular area of Paris) as well as the craft industry of West Africa.

Originally created to finance their association Les Oiseaux Migrateurs which supports African entrepreneurship, their first collection of t-shirts was a hit and gave them the impetus to launch into ready-to-wear. They have since collaborated with Nike (on the famous Jordan 1 ‘Fearless’ Maison Château Rouge), or Monoprix for a capsule collection.

This Friday will release their new collection for Jordan, entitled ‘United Youth International’. In addition to an Air Jordan 2 and a Jordan Series Mid there will also be matching sets of t-shirts, hoodies and teddys. You haven’t heard the last of them!
